4.2 What is signified by PCMatic Control?

PCMatic is the general term for a PC-based automation solution produced by the companies

Inosoft and Lenze Digitec. This particular example involves a mutually aligned combination of

industrial PC hardware with a Soft/Slot PLC system. The communication is ensured by a special

OPC server, which combines the PLC with the VisiWin visualisation system or other OPC

compatible applications. “PCMatic Control”, as a part of the PCMatic concept, describes the PLC

implemented in the device.
