7.20 Importing M-n-operating points
This application serves to dimension a rotary drive independent of a specific application. The appli-
cation data is determined via the motion profile to be created.
After the selection of the application, the MotionDesigner is opened automatically.
You have various options to create a rotary motion profile:
• Import operating points for torque/speed, moment of inertia and control signal for controller
inhibit and brake from an ASCII file.
• Importing profile data
( 236)
• After the import, you can scale the individual profiles and add more elements.
• Open an Imp file with saved motion profile, moment of inertia and control signals for controller
inhibit and brake.
• Create the motion profile graphically.
• A detailed description of the operation of the MotionDesigner is provided in the chapter "Mo-
tion design". ( 224)
Note!
• You can only create rotary motion profiles.
• The preselected parameters (torque, moment of inertia, controller inhibit, brake) can-
not be removed. You cannot add more.
• The load-matching factor k
J
(ratio of moment of inertia of the load to moment of in-
ertia of the motor) is only calculated if the moment of inertia is imported.
